The homes here
We come to the Sunshine Coast for whole-bathroom work, usually more than one room, where the program is worth building a run around. A single small bathroom two hours from our base is not something we can do well or price fairly, and we would rather say that than take it and manage it badly.
The difference is scheduling, not standard. We block the trades so they run consecutively rather than dropping in a day at a time, and you get the schedule with dates before anything starts. The waterproofing, the certificate and the quote in writing are exactly the same as they are at home.

We take on work from Caloundra up through Maroochydore, Buderim and Coolum, and Noosa has its own page. Everything here is by arrangement rather than on a weekly run.

Yes, by arrangement, for projects worth programming a run around. We are Gold Coast based and this is a two hour drive, so we are straight about which jobs make sense: whole bathrooms and multi-room work, rather than a single small room.
Broadly, a full bathroom and at least one other room, or a single large high-specification bathroom. Below that the travel becomes a real part of your money rather than a small line, and you are better served by someone local.
No, and the schedule is what protects that. Trades are blocked so they run consecutively rather than dropping in, so there is no half-finished room waiting a fortnight for someone to drive up.
As its own itemised line, so you can see exactly what it is. We would rather show it than fold it into inflated rates where it looks like the work costs more than it does.
The same standard and the same paperwork as anywhere: applied to AS 3740, flood tested, and the certificate handed to you at completion. Distance changes the logistics, never the standard.
