Currumbin has a lot of original low-set beach houses and cottages, many of them still with the bathroom they were built with. Opening the layout up with a walk-in shower and a longer vanity usually makes far more of the room than the original plan did.
We also work through Currumbin Valley, where the houses tend to sit on larger leafy blocks. Main bathrooms and ensuites are the usual jobs, and we're happy to take on both in the one program.

Common questions
In Currumbin the number turns on two things: what's behind the tiles in an original beach house, and how far up the valley you are for deliveries. Both are knowable before you commit, which is what the free on-site measure is for.
In Currumbin's original beach houses, soft sheeting around the shower and no membrane under the screed. Salt air doesn't help the fixings either. We cut an inspection hole at the measure so the quote reflects the room you've actually got.
Yes, potentially, in any Currumbin bathroom built before the late eighties. Asbestos cement sheeting was the normal wet-area lining then. If it looks likely we say so at the measure, and a licensed asbestos removalist takes it out as a separately priced step.
It affects the tapware and the fittings more than the tiling. Within a few streets of the sand, cheap chrome and some finishes pit and spot within a couple of years, so we'll steer you to the finishes that hold up and say plainly which ones don't.
Yes. Up in Currumbin Valley the thing worth planning is deliveries rather than the bathroom itself, since the trucks need room to turn. We'll sort that before the first day, not on it.
