Southport has some of the oldest housing on the coast, from timber cottages to brick homes from the sixties and seventies, and plenty still have their original bathroom. There's usually more to work with than the old layout suggests.

Common questions
In Southport the number often turns on the pipework. The older housing here can still have earthenware or early copper waste lines, and replacing them while the wall is open costs a fraction of coming back for it. We'll tell you what's there at the free measure.
In Southport's older houses, tired waste pipes and wall sheeting that's gone soft around the shower. Both are cheap to deal with while the room is open and expensive later, so we look before we price rather than after.
It's a real possibility in Southport, which has some of the oldest housing on the coast. Asbestos cement was the standard wet-area sheeting until the late eighties. We'll raise it at the measure, and a licensed removalist handles it as a separate, separately priced step.
